Japan: Record Cash Robbery!

Two masked men stole the equivalent of $7.5 million from a security company on the outskirts of Tokyo early Thursday in Japan’s biggest-ever cash robbery, a report said.

The pair tied up with tape a 36-year-old male employee at the Tachikawa office of security company Nichigetsu Keibihosho, Jiji Press said, quoting police, and demanded he get the money from the vault.

The man, who was alone and sleeping at the time, was seriously injured when the masked men forced him to tell them the code for the vault.
