Eco-friendly LED Lighthouse Test in Yokohama

Eco-friendly LEDs installed in 113-yr-old lighthouseEngineers test eco-friendly light emitting diodes (LED) in a 113-year-old lighthouse in Yokohama Port, south of Tokyo, on Nov. 19, 2009. The Japan Coast Guard switched the lighthouse to LED with a solar power generating device from incandescent lighting.
