A couple weeks ago, musician Nishikawa Takanori (T.M.Revolution) began planning for a charity event at Zepp Tokyo on March 30, but due to circumstances such as the earthquake damage and the scheduled blackouts in the Kanto region, he decided not to hold the event. Instead, he is organizing a live program on the video websites Nico Nico Douga and GyaO!, scheduled to air on April 2.
Titled “Hisaichi ni Yell wo Okurou! Imakoso Tachiagare Nippon! STAND UP! JAPAN,” the program will feature Nishikawa as the main host. Many other artists and celebrities are planning to participate, including SHOGO (175R), Tsuchiya Reo (RAG FAIR), Micro (HOME MADE Kazoku), Ono Mayumi, Tahara Soichiro, Shibata Hidetsugu (Untouchable), Tokito Ami, Muto Keiji, Urahama Alisa, KABA-chan, Shiraishi Miho, Matsuda Miyuki, Yamazaki Yuta, and more.
The program will be broadcast live for a total of 9 hours, lasting from 3:00pm until midnight. Events will include a charity auction and acoustic performances. The money raised will be donated to the earthquake relief efforts through a newly established charity project called STAND UP! JAPAN Chuo Kyodo Bokinkai.
