Dr. Yahiro Nezu of the Suwa Maternity Clinic, along with the mother and daughter, spoke with reporters about the procedure and pregnancy. The daughter 27 and her husband were not able to conceive a child on their own and the to be grandmother(53) opted to carry her own grandchild. A sperm and egg from her daughter and son-in-law were used, so biologically it is their offspring.
This is starting to be a more common procedure in Japan as a few cases have already been reported. However it still is amazing! Congratulations to all!
